Monday Memory: 5 Year Wedding Anniversary Cruise (Part 4)

After Grenada we set sail for Isla De Margarita, Venezuela. Originally we were supposed to go to Bonaire, but due to "port congestion" our itinerary was changed. We were extremely dissappointed. We docked in an industrial area and it was over an hour cab ride into town. So instead of going into town we walked the beach area took a few photos, browsed the vendor booth, then got back on the ship and laid by the pool.

Our next and final stop was Aruba. We had arranged a tour with ABC tours but were late getting into port. Fortunately they had someone waiting to pick us up and catch us up with the rest of the tour.

We zoomed around Aruba until we came to a screeching stop at Casibari Rock formations. Just as soon as we get to the top, our driver called for us to get down and move on. Geez!

Our next stop was the natural bridge. This is where we met up with the rest of our tour.

Next was the Bushirbana Gold Mill Ruins. I thought these were super neat.

Next we made our way to the natural pool taking in some awesome scenery along the way. Below they call the rock "little Aruba" because it's similar in shape to the island.

We made it to the natural pool, but the seas were too rough to swim in it.

This evening was our final formal night before we had a full day of sailing back to San Juan.

We made it back to San Juan right on schedule. After getting our luggage after we disembarked, we then were able to check it in with the airline at the cruise pier where they would take it directly to the airport and we wouldn't see it again until we arrived back home. Since our flight wasn't until 5pm that evening we revisted the Coach Factory outlet, finding some great deals, and enjoyed a final lunch in San Juan. 

We had a great flight home and were able to see the lit up Daytona Speedway when we flew over Florida. When we made it home we quickly discovered that one of our bags failed to make it back with us. I remember the guy at the airline counter asked me what was in it, I just told him dirty laundry. He promised me they would still be dirty when we got it back. Fortunately the bag was delivered to our home the next day....unfortunately it was still full of dirty laundry.
