So far I have been happily married to one of the loves of my life, Nic, for 9 years and plan for many more years to come. We live in the country about a half hour outside of Tulsa. In November 2009, I met the other love of my life, Bryce. I never imagined how amazing the love of your child could be.

I'm an "out of the home" working mom. I phrase it like that because I complete understand that stay at home moms are working moms as well. I'm currently an Associate Tax Accountant at an oil and gas company. Currently I have Associate's degrees in Marketing and Accounting, but I'm pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and I am so close to finishing that I can taste it...with just four classes remaining. I should graduate in the Fall of 2012.

I'm a warm weather, tank-top, flip-flop type of girl, so any warm days in the winter will be fully taken advantage of and living in Oklahoma those can come quite frequently. The cold days are spent working on indoor projects such as digital scrapbooking and constant organization (which never seems to get finished). Then when spring and summer finally come around I enjoy my vegetable garden and weekends at the lake. We look forward to sharing the outdoors with Bryce, whether that is gardening, boating, or simply playing outside.

We also look forward to sharing our love of travel with Bryce. After much consideration we decided our first vacation with him would be to Cozumel, Mexico. Cozumel is a special place for Nic and I since we spent our delayed Honeymoon there in 2004. Up until 2011, I had been there every year (and sometime twice a year) since, however during that past year we just could manage to fit it in our schedule. However, you can count on us being on a plane to Cozumel the day after my finals are over for this upcoming semester.

I'm not the best blogger these days, as other things take priority and it should be that way. However, I try my best to keep up with it as it has served as somewhat of a great place for me to document those momentous firsts and special moments.
